  • Know Your New Rod

    Your new rod’s weight, material, action, length, tip type, and power may differ from your other rods. Start with light weigt to know how it performing, then move to strong casts to avoid accidental damage.
  • Inspect for flaws

    Look carefully for defects might caused from manufacturing, shipping, storage, or display, like scratches or cracks.
  • Strengthen guides

    Put glue on the gap between the guide frame and ring to help make the rod stronger.
  • Wrap Your Rod

    Use Mojo heat-shrink tubing, it's designed for surf rods, or other materials to protect the rod, improve grip comfort, and boost confidence when fighting fish.
  • Secure with straps

    Use Mojo’s rod straps, speical made for surf rods, to store the rod and prevent scratches or rubs between sections.
